MINORS ON PREMISES
Guidelines for Families with Children
Pennant Hills Bowling Club is proud to be a family-friendly venue where children alongside their families are always welcome to enjoy our facilities. We are committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and inclusive environment for all our patrons.
To ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone and to comply with the requirements of the Liquor Act, we have established the following guidelines.
RULES & GUIDELINES | |
Supervision | All minors (under 18 years of age) must remain in the immediate vicinity of their parent or guardian at ALL times. Leaving a minor unaccompanied on club premises is an offence under the Liquor Act. |
Restricted Areas | Children are not allowed in or near the gaming room, or front of the bar. In accordance with NSW liquor laws, minors are also not permitted to approach or receive service from the bar, including for water and soft drinks. We kindly request that responsible adults adhere to signage throughout the club indicating restricted areas for minors. |
Appropriate Behaviour | We encourage children to play and have fun, but we ask parents and guardians to be responsible for ensuring that their children behave appropriately while on Club premises. Any disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in the family being asked to leave. |
Unattended Children | Under the Children & Young Persons (Care & Protection) Act, leaving a child unsupervised in the car park or near the car park is strictly prohibited. |
Club Policies | All families must adhere to the general rules and policies of the Club, including dress codes and conduct guidelines. |
These rules and guidelines have been designed to prioritise the safety and well-being of children, support responsible supervision, and maintain a respectful atmosphere for all members and visitors to our Club.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
